Once again a great night at Holy City Brewing, serving up Old Salt Gourmet Pretzels as we do every Thursday 3-8.
Old Salty had a special treat meeting Alex Thornton, who is running for State Senate
That's Alex across from her husband. I got to tell you after speaking with Alex, I just hope she gets elected. I'm excited seeing young talented people wanting to change us for the better. I being old myself, am tired of the "old" out of touch Congress and their privileged benefits and out of date thinking. So, you go get em Alex - the underdog Senator representing N Charleston/West Ashley would certainly have my vote if I didn't live in Mt. P --GOOD LUCK!!
Last Saturday pretzels and pralines were pleasing the multitudes at the Boone Hall Scottish Games. Plenty of bag pipes and Vikings marching and showing off their Scottish heritage. Make sure you attend next year or you'll be missing one of the years best events.
Mark you calendar for November 9 for the Blessing of the Vines at Irwin Vineyards, Wadmalaw. This is another great event with food and spirits out in the country. We'll see you there!

We are back again to serve you our delicious "gourmet pretzels" including your choice of toppings. Nothing goes better with those fantastic brews made here at Holy City Brewing by the master brewers! Arrgh, I could drink a good pint right now.
So join us between 4 and 8 pm this Wednesday. The venue is awesome and they are child and dog friendly.

ARRGH! Never rained on the fun time at Irvin Vineyards in Wadmalaw this past Saturday.
The Annual stomping of the GRAPES went off without a hitch and word is there were around 2,000 people, many more than last year.
If you have never been here to sample and buy the wine and Firefly vodka, it is worth the trip. Check their website, but me thinks every Saturday from 12-4 you can do the right thing!Old Salt Gourmet Pretzels were enjoyed by many as was the variety of food from the many other vendors. All in all, it was a great day for everyone. It was over at 5 but the park was still full of families and their dogs! Really a perfect outing and day. Nope, the "guy" with the Red hair didn't win...he came in 2nd.
